Located in Ontario, Canada and New York, USA, Niagara Falls has been a popular tourist destination for years. From honeymooners to the typical sightseer, Niagara Falls draws many an individual to its powerful display of awesome beauty.

The oldest American state park, Niagara Falls State Park is home to the American Falls. The American Falls are slightly higher than the Canadian Falls by about 4 meters.

The Canadian Falls is also referred to as Horseshoe Falls due to their shape. This particular set of falls was the site where many adventurous people took an exciting trip down the falls in a wooden barrel. Obviously, the trip was one way and exciting, especially the big splash at the end of the journey into the Maid of the Mist pool.

Robert Overcracker rides a jetski over the brink of the Horseshoe Falls to help promote awareness for the homeless. His parachute did not open and Robert ended up promoting better parachutes. He plunged to his death and his body was never recovered. An Egyptian tourist captured this amazing image.
